Elvira, chosen as an ambassador of Christ Jesus by the commandment of God our Saviour, and of Christ Jesus our Hope,

To the nations called out of darkness into His light: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have seen and heard of the reports of your deliverance for which I give glory to the Lord that He would deem me worthy to be a vessel He can use to free His children. Hallelujah!

For those who have refused to open their hearts to our Lord and Saviour to receive the eternal life and light He provides freely to all who believe in Him, we shall continue to pray for your salvation and your deliverance out of the thick deep darkness you continue to be trapped by.

No one is beyond the Lord's power to save. If He could take a man like Paul, who used to persecute and execute believers, remove the scales from his eyes so that he began to see His light, and then turn him into the author of the majority of books in the New Testament, then there is hope for every single one of us.

Join me, brethren, in prayer for our brothers and sisters who are still wondering in the wilderness, that the Lord may use us, the ones who have found our way home, to bring them back into their glorious inheritance and out of the oppression and torment of the kingdom of darkness.

What we covered throughout this whole Captives series is only the groundwork.

Now that you are awake and alive, it is time to begin the real journey of discipleship, purification of our hearts, sanctification of our souls, and consecration of our lives to the Lord so that we may achieve the dreams and purposes that He has set before us, and bear fruit for His kingdom.

I have lived my entire life mostly abiding by God’s word and decrees, lived a life of celibacy in adulthood, prayed, fasted, and always did my absolute best to live according to God's will, however, it was in 2021 that I received my “call” to ministry and got started on a new phase of my consecration journey.

The first thing the Lord made me do when that happened was empty my bank accounts and give everything I had away. He told me this:

You must learn that nothing you have belongs to you, it is all Mine. It is all the Lord's, I AM your provider and can give and take however I see fit. If you don't claim ownership of any material things, then those things can never control you.

My husband and I have emptied our accounts a few times since then, we do this with clothes too. The last time I emptied my closet to remain with only 3 t-shirts, some basic underwear, and a few sweatpants was less than 3 months ago. Why? Because it is the Lord’s, not ours, so if He says “give”, we give, even though we gladly give and donate without Him instructing us to.

The Lord asks these things because He wants to make sure that the zeros in the bank account never get to our heads and He is constantly testing to see if we are still submitted to His authority and uncompromised. Remember what we discussed in the last epistle, about the Lord allowing certain things to happen to you so that He can use them to purify your heart and draw you closer to Him? Yes, that is what you should expect moving forward.

But what’s also great is that when we do obey, the replenishment is always overflowing. Actually, nowadays I look forward to it because I know that at least a hundred to five hundred fold is on the way as a replenishment. Praise God!

So today, when the Lord says: “Go and give this”, my heart leaps with joy and I start looking forward to what is to come. It could take two or five years to come, but it always will. It’s when the replenishment comes that you rejoice in having nothing and no one else as your priority than Jesus Christ and His kingdom, He never fails.

'Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” ' Luke 6:38

'But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. ' Matthew 6:33

Another example is when my husband got started on his consecration journey. The Lord made him give up a job that paid him 1 million dollars per episode, then took away another job (that he had very much attached his identity to, instead of Christ) that would have easily paid him upwards of 8 figures, and then ordered him to stop taking on new jobs. Why? Because he was never born to do that. He has a gift, but it was never meant to be used that way.

His reaction: "But Father, how about my reputation... what will the public say... the fans... how will I look... what will the media say... but this has been the last almost 25 years of my life... I know nothing else... etc.".

The Lord answered: "You have to die to all of that. If you love me, if you truly want to follow me, if you want to be free of these evil powers that have been exploiting and tormenting you, you will obey me. Actually, you are not even supposed to be a "celebrity". I will uproot that identity from you and wash your mind and heart from that devilish Hollywood mindset. I'm telling you in advance that it will be painful, but it is for your own good. You will learn..."

This is just a small taste of the things that this journey will require of you, it is just to give you an idea because things like this are likely to happen weekly and sometimes daily. Brace yourself!

'Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.' 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

In short, your journey of sanctification circles around 3 things: obedience and submission to the Lord, the crucifixion of your flesh and its desires, and the pursuit of holiness and purity of heart.

When you encounter the Fear of the Lord and get a taste of His love for you, His Spirit teaches you this kind of obedience, and it is His Spirit that is at work in you, and not you accomplishing things by your willpower. Your willpower cannot help you do this, and your flesh goes against it. Read yesterday's epistle again to refresh your memory.

That is why praying the petition to receive the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord regularly (at least daily) is extremely important. If you have not incorporated it into your routine yet, please do it right now.

Petition for the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. (Captives XI)
Make the Fear of the Lord your fortress and His love your hope.

The Lord is inviting you to die to yourself and start being alive through Christ so that you can finally find your life and walk in radical freedom from the powers of darkness.

' “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth;
I have not come to bring peace, but a sword [of division between belief and unbelief].

For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother,
and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
and a man’s enemies will be the members of his [own] household [when one believes and another does not].

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me;
And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he who does not take his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] is not worthy of Me.

Whoever finds his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], and whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for all eternity].' Matthew 10:34-39

If you have never done this before, I invite you to solemnly consecrate yourself and answer the Lord's call on your life.

To do that, simply say the following statement right now (out loud):

Lord Jesus, I say yes to your call.

I proclaim with my whole heart that I desire to pursue the purposes and dreams that you have for me.

I consecrate myself to be holy, as you are holy.

I dedicate my life to the pursuit of Your wisdom from above.

I surrender my heart to You, for it to be purified.

Take hold of me now, my Lord, and have your way in my life.

Please help me on this journey, my Lord, because there is nothing that I can do outside of you.

You are the True Vine, and I, the branch, I cling onto you today never to let go, and I ready myself to bear the good fruit.

I seal my consecration with the blood of Jesus Christ and declare myself set apart for God's glory.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Now, let the journey begin!

With love,

Elvira

Captives Series
“Captives” is the first body of work that the Lord commissioned me to write in the form of a series of poems and epistles to those He has called and chosen to be set apart as His Royal Priesthood in the new nation for the culture of heaven, which is
